With presenters such as Cal Evans, Lukas Kahwe Smith and Derick Rethans, the program of the first Dutch PHP Conference last year was a great success. We are sure that we will be able to match the quality of the program in 2008. For one we have Zeev Suraski, co-creator of PHP as a mature development language, as the opening keynote. Secondly, there will be a Pre-conference Tutorial day with workshops from the very best. And like last year, the price is still very reasonable!

As a reminder: for those who won’t be able to attend the event, a live stream of all talks held in the conference room “Janson” (that includes the Keynotes, the Programming Languages, the Build Systems and the Packaging tracks) will be provided in partnership with Linux Magazine.
The following link will take you to the schedule and streaming interface, where you can use several technologies to watch the videos (including opensource ones, with opensource codecs):

(no registration nor fee required)
All sessions held in Janson (keynotes and main tracks), Chavanne (main tracks) and Ferrer (lightning talks) will be recorded and available as video files after the event (including for download), thanks to NamurLUG and Linux Magazine.

Our next meeting on the 13th of December (2nd Thursday in Month) will be the last this year.
Yes it’s Christmas time yet again so as always this will be a Christmas special meeting.
Apart from doing silly Christmas things, we will have 2 speakers and a yearly review together with an outlook of what’s to come in 2008. PHPUnconfs, FlexTag and DevDays all seem to have found their way onto our Agenda.
So there’s lots to look forward to in the new year.
