Free and Open Source Software Conference
The first thing I did after the FrOSCon (pics) was to block the weekend in 2009 for the next one.
The event was awesome, great location, perfect organisation, brilliant speakers, good workshops
and best of all hundreds of like minded people.
The community aspect was amazing, the PHP track was full of high quality content and speakers.
Both Keynotes were both amusing and educational:
Simple is hard (Rasmus Lerdorf)
Reminded me what PHP is all about; “solutions”
Watch the video if you get the chance.
MINIX 3, A Reliable and Secure Operating System (Andrew S. Tanenbaum)
Took me back to my Universtiy days.
Info about other sessions I visited will follow:
If you have a look at the public wiki you get a real feel for the event.

The only bad thing about the event is that it came to an end but hey,
the next event is on the horizon.
